2024 LRRL - Race 10

Information

• Parking: Parking is kindly provided by South Charnwood High School. Car parking only at the school grounds - No parking on surrounding area or roads of the race and car share where possible (min 3 people). The car park will be closed until the end of race and reopens at 10:30am.

• There will be signs to follow on race day and also marshals advising where the parking is. 

• Registration: From 8:00am at South Charnwood High School, Broad Lane, Markfield LE67 9TB. Race numbers (with chips attached) can be collected from the registration desk by club representatives for distribution. 

• Club Tents: There is plenty of space available for club tents on the field. 

• Toilets: Available on the school grounds with additional urinals - please use the facilities provided. Anyone urinating on school grounds will be disqualified.

• Headphones: Strictly prohibited for safety reasons, including bone conduction headphones. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.

• Route: The route is an undulating single lap road race through the villages of Markfield and Thornton, passing the picturesque reservoir. This is a left turn only course and will be signed and supported with marshals along the course. Water will be provided at the 6km point of the course and post race.

• Refreshments: There will be a coffee van and cakes for sale - please note, this will be cash only.

• Updates: Please check Facebook and emails nearer the time of the race for any changes that may affect the race. 

• As the race is being held on school grounds, no dogs allowed
